I appreciate the exaggerated perspective, but it's a bit too far I think... looks strange when compared to the windows/furniture.
This looks amazing, very nice style and well done art.
I've been keeping tabs on this on Facebook. I really love the tiles, but I find the perspective is a bit too exaggerated, espectially the tops of the wood posts.
Incredible, just looking at it makes me want to play.
Welcome my friend Mhyre! You don't need to doubt, He is the game's producer. Midora's father!!haha
Midora is in fact heavily inspired by Minish Cap, and this kind of weird perspective is a tribute to all 2D zelda games that made our childhood so much fun. If it weren't for Zelda, I wouldn't be making this game today ;)
Midora will be played with a x2 zoom.
@whiteRufas
If you love to minish cap, Then you will love Midora too.
Very nice one. But somehow something with the perspective of the walls isn't coming so well with the eyes.
@DatMuffinMan
Yes, this is not true of light. But we design is a lovely style, so we make it in every direction is symmetrical.
But very thanks for your attention.
this might be quite insignificant as this is a 2D RPG game, but realistically, the sun would not shine in through every single window, but rather from one side only.
regardless, the colors are great, and the characters look extremely smooth and nice.
Style looks like Zelda, loved it. It's clean, and nice. \o/
It's like Zelda, only... not. Odd.
