I dunno, personally I don't really like this piece. It has very nice AA. Every pixel has its place, and it is finely refined. But it doesn't capture the emotion that you usually hit in most of your pieces. I don't know what to feel when looking at it. Happy? Creeped out? Confused? It feels more childish than abstract. So do you make up for the uninspiring childish design with good technique and flare? Perhaps- it's a tough call.
But I dig the preview.
Thank you! I was worried that my pixel skills got worse as I haven't done anything for a whole month, and this was more of a quick sketch more than anything. Always happy to hear good things from the pros :)
You've come such a long way. Here you show a great deal of skill and if its something you rushed out without much thought then its even better.
You completely got I was going for here! I decided I would just use a mouse to draw whatever randomly, and then refine it. There is no point in the skeleton, instead I was trying to go for a more nonsensical drawing with no fore thought put into it. Childish and uninspired is what I had in mind. Instead of worrying about the "message" or feeling, I decided to focus on AA more. Ill definitely put more emotion into the next thing I draw though
