A few days ago, furry artist Miu posted a sketch of a centauress on his Tumblr account. After looking at it, I felt the need to flesh it out into a full picture, and since I do pixel art, I jumped on the chance to turn the pic into a sprite. After completing it a day or so after starting it, I had to wait for Miu to pop back up on the Internets to give me permission to post it (since I used his art as a direct reference/inspiration for my piece). Since he's given me that blessing, I can now post this sprite.

Since the sketch was just an outline with no coloration, I decided to make a few different color schemes that I thought worked well with Miu's design. Because of the size difference between the original pic and this sprite, I had to alter a few things to achieve enough of a balance between authenticity to Miu's design and overall sprite quality (with as few colors as possible).

STATS: About eight hours, 50 colors (49 + transparency), character design and pose directly referenced from the work of Michael 'Miu' Vega.

Since I created this work by using Miu's work as the basis for the sprite (which makes it a derivative work of his prior existing art), the rights for this image belong to Miu.
