the corners on the interior of the concrete square should be a lighter shade than the surrounding greys, instead of black. in general corners/edges that 'pop out' are lighter, those that recede into the picture plane are darker. the stripes on the cat are hardly noticeably, if you increased the contrast they would be visible. some shading would also help the piece, if nothing more than a drop shadow beneath the cat.
also 's.cat' looks similar to 'scat', which is English for, um... excrement.
