Thanks. I really have no interest in clean ramps that can be palette-swapped.

You might want to try a version that would support palette swapping. Right now the color use is more artsy and unified than game-functional. Love the jeans.

thanks for the crits. The eyes are of proper spacing, although the rendering of the light leaves a lot to be desired.

not much a fan of the line under the nose either.

tried the shoulders differently when I was making this, didn't stick.

I have only 3 problems with this:

  • His eyes are too close together.
  • I don't like that black line underneath his nose.
  • His right shoulder looks a bit too padded and beefy.  Maybe shave off a few pixels.

This has been updated for tweakage and to mirror the portrait of the character closer. Thanks for the feedback.

the pose does seem a bit weird, his right foot seems kinda long and his right lower leg seems dented inward to much. other than the awkward pose the character design, colors and details are very well done.

Thanks. The more I look at it the more I spot various errors. I'll have to revisit this soon, probably when I do the portrait. I think the folds aren't very good, really, and the palette has errors. My most bright shade went from the original blue I had in mind to a dull gray. I mixed too much. And the pants outlines do need toning down, probably. I need to spend more time on finishing touches.

Thanks for the critique, Mirre. Your avatar is looking quite better now, btw.

Amazing work on the folds, especially on the pants. Very nice use of colours, lightsetting, and details too. Maybe make the outline on the pants a bit subtler ... or add more contrast to the shirt, otherwise awesome work!

One of my faviourites so far in that thread. I can't wait to see the portrait! You always amaze me dude :) Awesome work on the detailing this guy. Kinda lacking weapons it looks like though... maybe a rubber chicken in his hand... just to throw in some comedic relief

wow...that's stunning :O

you do an excelent work with the colouring,  good contrast.

The pants looks too sharp in comparation with the rest of the piece, but perhaps it's just me :P

*Faving* of course  :)

Lovely work on the coloring as always. The pants look particularly sharp. The fella's right arm looks a bit odd in that position. I think it mostly has to do with how the position of the hand.

Not familiar with pro motion. Is that for Windows, Linux or Mac?
