 I figured I had better make a piece to please Jalnoso's prediction about blackbirds. So I did! Unfortunately I hadnt really planned anything else besides it having blackbirds, being a small world-y thing and pissing jal off.     Even then, I think the tree's turned out nice and I'm pretty proud of them. The inside of the planet though, thats where it fell apart. I was thinking of something to do with Dante's Inferno but I couldnt fit it in there so I went with this.

 

I do think I made a good palette though so I think I learned enough from this piece to be worthwile to upload.

Yeah I would've cleaned it up a lot but I ran out of time trying to fill the inside of the planet. Thanks though!

The pixeling is a bit rough, but I like this a lot.

Palette contrast is not even, or else it might be color placement choices: the top 2/3 look low contrast except the highlights. Maybe the palette needs fixing, or just add some more transition highlights to the central part.
