Oh dear - not good (Gondor) after the Shelob comment in the last challege I did, but point taken. I'll have to be extra vigilant against comparisons if I do another.

It's just intended to be the goal at the end of the maze. I considered putting a fountain at the centre, but thought a tree would be more interesting. I also had in mind an old story from a children's book, where adventurers were struggling to get to a tree with magic properties but then turning to stone when they ate the fruit.
