I know, I'm late to the party but I have to say that I love everything about this animation.

Oh that's soo cool; love it.

3d models are great in terms of big productions because you dont lose much time. I think you are more into the stuff if you start avoiding the use of rotoscoping techniques. Sometimes our imagination is stronger than reality. Indeed this piece looks very natural.

Thank you all guys. Honestly I didn't expect this piece to win. I was sooo totally bored by it at the end.

I spent like 80% time drawing frames that I got rid of. I have redrawn the full sail animation a couple of times. 

And still like Antiboton said I feel a couple of frames are missing.

Great piece. I loved so much the animation!

 this is cool, mainly because it can be interprated so many different ways, some see a boat, others see creatures, there are a great many things to behold here.

xD I originally saw the flames as eyes and the oars as weird stalk-like legs.

 NIce use of the evil acid green. the animation it this looks like it took a long time. I really like the oars on the side. this will get one of my votes
