Im not trying to annoy you, its just that users often like to point out the whole "zoomed" thing, and just saying "4x is the intended resolution" instead of "it isnt zoomed" will save you alot of trouble/unecessary comments.
fine. anyways, i already posted another picture, and i made sure to avoid the word zoom entirely.
-_- There isnt any other way to put it. Its not my job to correct somebodies misunderstanding of what a zoomed resolution is, but for future reference, if you dont want people complaining about the way you put it in your description, say that 4x is the intentional/original resolution.
I just think we have different understandings of the word "zoom", and it is really unimportant overall
I never said that they couldn't be zoomed, I'm just telling you that they are. It's ok to have an intended size of 4x, but the fact that I can ctrlc your picture and and scale it down 25% means it is zoomed. When you start putting "not zoomed" on a picture it it, people will comment to correct you instead of commenting on the art itself.
I think people don't understand that it is supposed to be viewed at 4x4 pixels. It's supposed to appear like 80's sierra games.
I had my pictures rejected for being zoomed, and after I explained that they weren't zoomed, the moderator understood, but told me to explain that they were not zoomed.
Here's some advice, don't say "it isn't zoomed in because that's how it was originally made". Yes it's zoomed in, regardless of whether or not your program pixels in 4x4 squares. It works like a lowest common denonimator, since the piece can be reduced to -4x without any scaling issues. 4x is your intended viewing size, leave it at that. People will comment only to say "its zoomed!" and itll just end up in confusion.
very cool. i'd never imagine to come across a piece like this in a pixel art community.
