There is no reason any pixel art should ever be over 256 colors and even then... You surely did not choose 4002 colors manually right?
Is that bad? I don`t think about number of colors if i don`t have to. icture must llok good and no special matter how much colors there.
You did something crazy in outputting your file. It has over 400 colors see here and use that spec checker on future work if you need to.
Oh, had a bad day. Sorry again.
This picture (and a picture of stalls in my gallery) is kind of experimental way for me: 3D model made in 3DS Max, resized and drawn in pixel art style with overlay (to preserve shadows). It looks pretty good and i will make it better. But later :)
Thanks for your feedback i will use your advice as soon as possible.
I really didn't want to come across as rude, and I'm sorry if I did! I suggested the change with the best of intentions and as I read my comment, I see that it could have easily be taken as agressive. It was just a suggestion tho' and I assure you I meant no offense.
Whoa. Ok, small pic is here. Boat and characters are dark, yep, and i think they will because overall style is more important than doubtfull rule.
Or maybe i`m too agressive today. Sorry. Let me look at this picture in the morning.
First off, you'll need to add a small pic as preview, second, both characters are dark and so is the boat. This makes them hard to make out. Try either changing the color of the boat, or the characters, as the contrast is not nearly high enough between them and the background.
Because pixelart is about pixel and color control whenever a file gets artifacts or CG colors added that makes the piece NPA even tho it was at some point. Often this will happen in file output and its a technicality, k. If you need help with this kind of thing use the forum.
