I think I actually prefer the skull without the bounce... the little bits that fly off give it a nice sense of impact.
Actually high weight isn't intentional.
To make the skull look lighter I had to draw either bounce animation or additional frame to slow it down, but I just had no time at all to do that. Instead I added those scattering particles and I was satisfied by how it looked.
The skull is filled with darkness; maybe there is a black hole inside it. I think it isn't a huge mistake to leave it as it is.
The weight is one of the things i like most about this piece. Like the skull is the only real solid bit cos it stays intact when the body crumbles to nothing. Anyways this is very nicely done. I find it strange a grim reaper is full of rainbows and butterflies but that just adds to it's unique charm here.
The skull falls down as if it weights a ton. Other than that it's an interesting for an eye animation, good work.
Lovely animations! Love the rainbows vs. death/balck&white contrast.
I saw the WIP in the weekly challenge thread and seeing it complete, just blew me away. This looks so very good! It's an awesome idea executed very very well!
I just hated the rainbow idea while a WIP. Man was I wrong.
Wow, nice animation! The life beats death
