Yes, the curves could be more subtle and less jaggy, and the blue shading under the leaf could also be purple just like the other shading to reduce colors, but overall it's pretty good for you're "first" pixel art

I like the overall look of yor apple, but the outline seems a bit too jagged for me. Also, I think you might be able to reduce the color count to below 14-15 without loosing the overall look. But there's no real rule saying you have to use the absolute minimum ammount of colors possible... :D
