Ah, that makes sense now. Sorry, wasn't seeing it that way at first for some reason.
The dark parts of the spinning wheel are the spindles, then you have the motion blur slipstream behind it. So they are rotating counter-clockwise which is correct :)
Hmm, well the wheels look like they're going clockwise to me.
Shouldn't they be going counter-clockwise if he is driving left?
Thanks Dr D :) I believe though that the motion blur is actually going in the right direction :)
This is an awesome piece, but one little nitpick I have is that the direction of the motion blur on the wheels makes it seem like they are going the opposite way they should be... unless this thing is driving backwards.
Hi Crozier! These are indeed very valid points :) Thanks for your feedback! :)
Welcome to pixeljoint!
That certainly is quite an amusing piece. Can't help but smile. Few nit picks- Some things appear to be effected by the light source, when they really shouldn't (the navy suitcase up top, the man's body, the teddy bear have things blocking them that would not allow them to be this well lit). It is also a little strange how some things have black/brown outlines and some things don't. That could be a little more comprehensive in terms of style. The carriage should also cast a shadow on the ground. There is also a few instances of banding (notably on the metal pole directly above the furnace engine). Thats all I can see at this moment. Keep practicing!
Hi Neonman. I wrote a quite long comment the other day, but it looks like it wasn't posted properly. : / In case it was deleted somehow, did you see it?
