Reminds be of those old handheld  l.e.d games you get where everything was so blocky. This is a good animation.

 With only two colors (transparency is not a color for me) you can do a goodlook sprite with a great animation ! *applause*

Saw this on tumblr and liked it a lot.  And don't apologise about scaling it up.  This thrives on the chunky pixels.
