Awesome. Amazing style. And i love the oldschool dithering. Takes me back to the 90's.

Dithering this much usually looks bad. But you've made it work really well here. Awesome job.

OK, it´s your opinion, but I like this kind of dithering from the early 90´s, when I saw an isometric game called Cadaver by the Bitmap Brothers for the first time...;) But maybe you don´t know this game, beacuse of the year of your birth...:D Sorry, it was only a joke...;)

I dislike the dithering.. it looks really harsh

Fantastic!

A lot of detail, I like it. The water is the best. :3.

Thank you for the explanation of slopes...;) But I still don´t understand, how do you mean it? :D Sorry, maybe I´m stupid, but do you mean it as a good thing or a bad one on my picture? I think it´s logical - grass hill in isometric view has to have got slopes with shadows depending on a light source, don´t you think? ;) Or do you mean it in some other way?

You did a really good job, especially on the water. The dithering looks great :)

user

Sorry, but my English is not the best one, so I don´t fully understand your comment!!! :D What do you mean that "those shadows on the grass are SLOPES"?

user
Fidorka69 (Level 2 Flatfoot) @ 9/12/2013 05:50

Thanx...:)

Be absolutely sure this picture is an isometric one!!! ;) It´s made from "rhombus" isometric tiles 70x36 - my own size...;)

user
Fidorka69 (Level 2 Flatfoot) @ 9/12/2013 05:43

Thanx...:)

Yeah, I think it´s still a big "fight" for a lot of graphic designers to draw a good looking grass textures!!! :D I think my grass texture on this picture is lush for you because of a lot of flowers, and little bushes sprites... But the basic grass texture itself is just the one and quite simple tile...;)

Fidorka69 (Level 2 Flatfoot) @ 9/12/2013 05:35

Thanx...:)

Yes, I plan to use my pixel graphics for some game in the future, but I´m still not completely satisfied with whole tiles and sprites... In these days I try to learn how to draw nice looking trees...;)

Those shadows on the grass are slopes. Hope you can see it now!

It looks fantastic, but it doesn't really look isometric to me.

user
castled (Level 3 Chief) @ 9/11/2013 13:21

I like the colors and the grass texture very much, very lush.

Beautiful, I like the whole scene a lot, especially the rocks. They look slightly technological, which is great.

Do you plan on using this for a game or is it just an art scene as is?

user
Fidorka69 (Level 2 Flatfoot) @ 9/11/2013 09:41

Thanx 4 comment...:)

Good idea with the shadow of the hill on the left, next time I´ll try something like that...;) I still want my hills to make more rounded and more compact, but it´s still a little problem when I try to make all things from tiles...:P

Anonzs (Level 2 Flatfoot) @ 9/11/2013 08:31

This looks amazing!

My only complaint is that I think that the shadow of the hill should kinda spill over to the grass on the left. Though this is only my opinion. It could be argued that the shadow doesn't extend far enough to reach that patch of grass though.
