Hopefully when they revamp this site they'll add in some kind of option to set the scaling to how they feel the piece should be viewed at therefore having it set that way on loading for everyone without the file itself being pre-scaled.
At native resolution it's a pretty unreadable sprite as you say, but now it's been scaled up I can picture a lovely 320x240 res game screen around it.
@Sergiotron: yes that's an idea. But more work considering the number of frames. :( (thank you btw!)
I think the best solution is to have the original one next to a scaled one in the same image. Awesome work btw :)
Ok I'll scale it up. It's unreadable and I'm afraid people miss some details.
Bah, if they were 'reeeal purists' they'd be like me and want it already scaled up to look like it's on a low resolution screen instead of having to waste time clicky-clicking to zoom.. rah rah..
@Friend : Yes sorry, this time I've put it at scale 1:1 for purists. :)
Indeed, and I purposely ignored some details. Especially on the torso. Those non-retro 3D models are not designed to be "sprited" easily :)
It's a nice sprite though not keen on the character design or colour scheme but that's more down to the original it's based on.
awesome,
btw.
