Wow! That is incredible, i have just logged on last thing today but tomorrow I am going to give that some serious study, the difference is amazing.
Many thanks Mandrill, that is very much appreciated. Really looking forward to seeing more of your work now that you are back up and running!
Hey chap.
The PC is up and running again and Im' back in action. :P Sorry that it took so long. :(
Here we go... I tweaked the colours a bit and tackled some of the shading issues. I also added a brighter brown to the palette.
It's not much and I didn't refine the clusters/edges but I hope it helps anyway.
Sorry to hear about you pc! I wondered why there hadn't been anything from you for a while. Ok, I look forward to more of your creations soon......
Hey mate,
sorry for not responding like I promised. :(
Yeah, I worked on your piece but didn't finish it until I somehow managed to burn the motherboard on my 'Work/Pixel Pc". That is the reason why I haven't uploaded anything for the last few weeks.
The new board should arrive sometime this between Wednesday and Friday.
Just hang in there. I'm going to post it as soon as possible. :)
Hi Mandrill
did you get a chance to go over my War Rhino? I'd be interested to see what you come up with
cheers
Brejan
Wow! What is that for a shading? It's very cool and interesting.
And the animal is very good. :).
hmm it has potential but some parts look very sketchy and unfinished to me, things like the carpet, the bridle or the rhino's left ear (the right one from our perspective) look very undetailed and flat.
but ! the shading on the legs/belly and the anatomy look very good and i really like the structure on the mask :)
just give it some fine-tuning.
cheers
Nice rhino, man! Looks very much like the ref (this is a compliment) and I really like the saddle on top.
Thanks Mandrill
I did actually try some warm bounce light but couldn't get it to look right. I'd be really interested to see what you can do with this, your comments and tweaks are always very much appreciated!
Awesome one matey! You nailed the anatomy and design damn well... It is a cool concept. :)
I'm not so sure about the shading though. You cold add some drop shadows :/ . It looks a tiny bit over exposed imo.
The metal is a nice touch, it adds some variety to the piece. Nice job on the beaten look. :) Maybe a bit too blueish overall, it needs some warm bounclight.
Give me some time to go over it a bit but only if you like of course. :)
Hrhr, no worries! I'm glad you like it mate. :)
I've just started working on a new Warhammer 40k piece, a Flash Git that is.
Have a great weekend. ;)
