Pretty cool image! My only critique would be that the lighting isn't harsh enough to be in space, and the light on the whale is coming from the camera, rather than the moon. I know I personally struggle with lighting and perspective sometimes, as well. Anyway, otherwise, it's pretty cool!
Wow, thanks everyone for the help and the nice comments!
I'm going to use Night and Friend's examples to fix the stuff (and try to understand them, most importantly). I like the saturation like it is, though :)
Really nice. I agree with the others about AA, although, I think that you shoudl've used it accordingly, for example, if you use the brightest yellow colour and are trying to add AA between it and the darkest colour, use the orange one( or dark red one).
There are some problems with the AA simply because it has weird combinations, i.e dark blue>dark green>light green> light blue. You can simply use darker green to AA, only one colour sometimes is enough.
I also agree with everyone else about the sketchy feeling you gave to the picture before posting, it makes it look more interesting.
Here's an edit; other than what I said, I also focused on some other stuff.

The way you handled the AA seems it would have been fine (as far as pixel placement) but the colors you used simply don't work. They don't do what AA is meant to do, smooth the edges.
Also, that being said this is one of the best I've seen for the challenge.
Cute scene, but I have to agree with Friend regarding the AA issues.
yeah, here is how I'd fix the AA. Maybe the colors could be more saturated too
I agree that the sketchy atmosphere fit better, perhaps change the sketchy part to the color you used for AA? That way it isn't so sharp. Still think this is awesome though. :P Definitely has my vote.
Thanks a lot :) yeah, this is my first time trying that, I didn't expect it to work right away... I'll study other people's work more to get better!
Aw, about the atmosphere, you think so? Might edit before the contest ends (am I allowed to do that?)
great work. Not entirely sure of the color mixing between the whale moon and atmosphere of the earth. The AA is also pretty bad in places and should be improved (moon and whale)
fyi, the sketchy atmosphere you had in the wip forum looks much better than this version
Dude, this is AWESOME!
One of my fav' illustration ever, I find it so inspiring...
