Hey there, thanks for the feedback, I kind of redid the shading, focussing more on the wart-like things venusaur has on it's skin. It hast less structure.
Plus, I have to admit that I am used to work with more than 15 colours, so I guess that's why I tried to make up for the few colours with extra structure.
I think your pieces would benefit from dropping the texturing of everything. Really it doesn't denote anything. Surely his tongue, his skin, even his claws can"t have the same grainy texture.
I think your linework and composition is really good, just the handling of color hurts it.
