Ok thanks, I might try something like this at some point.
Mr.F.: It's RGB222, meaning 2 bits per channel, so 4 settings per channel: 00, 55, AA, FF. In Promotion you can constrict the bits per channel, but I made me a palette for this with a few different ramp layouts.
PotatoLogic: Yes, I use a tablet for all my 2D art.
And thanks everyone for the comments.
Surt: I think it's a good thing that I am a bit less OCD about this kinda stuff nowadays :P
I like the left-most design most.
These remind me of my dream from the other night, pretty terrifying.. was being hunted by a terminator ( a T-800 or so). They're really scary when you think it's real.
i would of liked to see some portraits like this from a side view. but good work.
Should have forced those last three colours in there for the complete set.
oh - nice :)
I'm working on some pictures with this palette too (64col) for russian ZX spectrum clone - EVA, Pentagon (and others of this kind). At first contact it was not funny at all, but after some digging I realized that there is a bunch of very fancy ramps inside ;).
And there is proof :)
