Weekly Challenge: Costumed Creatures
All weekly challenge entries must be submitted by midnight (US California time) Sunday. There is a countdown clock on the front page :)
A-actually, I could've (and, in retrospect, should've) put more work into this, but I wasn't sure if the contest deadline meant it had to be submitted or in the gallery by that time, so just to be safe, I tried to submit it quickly. But then it got accepted overnight, so whoops~
But thanks! I'll try to be less self-deprecating with my comments in the future... ^-^;
Try to be positive and proud about anything you create because its your best today and that's all you need.
The biggest thing about being even a little flippant about a piece you create when describing is that it contradicts the fact that by submitting you acknoledge some degree of pride and satisfaction.
Maybe in future pieces while you work on 'that' is to keep it on the technical side of things when talking about or describing your work. For example, 'working on palettes' or 'learning anatomy' etc.
