Thanks! I doubt that color reduction would ever lead to something even barely nice. Probably one would need to tweak it so extensively that it’s always faster and nicer to manually push the pixels anyway…

I don’t know whether to take that as a compliment or not. Well, I used a screengrab from the show as reference for proportions and colors. The only thing not entirely placed pixel-by-pixel was the pattern-gradient in the upper left.

For credibility sake I could post my refernce here and have you gals & guys take shots at it with color reduction and see for yourself that it probably won't work.
