Yeah I originally made them different colors but when I decided to use DB32 pallette I couldn't find any ramp I liked more + would make them stand out effectively from backgrounds.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean regarding 3D/2D, since the mechs are viewed straight-on. But the platforms are definitely a bit boring comparatively, I'll probably want to fix that.

I've started animating the mech on the left, I hope to post it in a few days :)

 Nice little mechs...crying out for some animation!

 I think it looks a bit weird, as the robots are shown in 3D and the platforms are not. Love the mechs' designs though, I'm terrible at 'em. 

 I'm really loving the design of the mechs but I'm not a big fan of them being just grey. Anything with mechs is a win!
