Frankly speaking, I did not paint the trees, and the challenge this touched me ... =) There were plenty of options for how to paint trees, it came out like this ...
 
I plan to use your spare time to learn in drawing trees =D

I like how dense the forest feels. The colors pull me in but the details tell me to escape. :)

 Looks a bit flat, I'd suggest making the trees in the BG a tad darker. Otherwise, nice work.
