i think the colorcount is fine, as this is a batch-showcase of already made characters, so i thank you for not uploading every single character but putting them altogether :)

 Preview doesn't justice, that's for sure.

(also, Muxaun is right, I think).

The contrast between colors is too high. They look too noisy.

Reducing colors count and uniting the palette will greatly improve this otherwise nice piece.

 There's a ton going one which is awsome (the preview doesn't do it justice!) but I would suggest trying to reduce the color count a bit.
