I would play a game in this style.

I have liked how you did the scenes. 

I have an gameboy color, and this kinda remember me the time when I stoled the gameboy from my brother, and played with it on my bed.

Although, he still have it, and it works. (it have 14-15 years lul)

A bit saturated

The crazy high yellow highlights and lack of transition tiles between the sand and water are a little distracting to me. I do like that top mockup quite a bit. The tiles and little details (like the leaves and rock) are quite nice.

The smattering of autumn leaves on the top screen are a really nice touch.

 Zelda-esque never fails.

 Simple but effective.
