Nah, I'd assume you'd only see one room at a time in the finished game.
Beautiful.
The interior looks kinda bright, though. Still feels like an open patio with a "second floor". I think it's due to the the "walls" being so bright.
But if it's zeldaesque you won't get to see that much far away, will you?
not bad, but there are some elements that just look 2x (walls) and then the detailed x1 stuff (turf, trees, plants)...
the colorsheme is really nice
the well's design at the top left doesnt really fit into this because of the stairs perspective, also it being the most detailed thing...as if 2 people worked on this
I think I like the plant stuff the most :D Really cool!
The graphics are obviously Zelda-inspired, but (unlike a lot of other Zelda inspired works) are unique enough to stand on their own. Really nice work. :)
This is awesome, but the conflicting perspectives of the pits (strictly top-down) and some secondary elements is unsettling. The pits could be fixed by narrowing / widening the south / north sides, although that would complicate the tiling.
Very cool....if you can do decent humans as well, would you like to help build a 2d rpg videogame? You would be paid (at least 50,000) after we did a fundraiser to gain money for at least a years worth of pay on kickstarter? I already have a simple prototype engine built, and I am ready to start plugging in art. It would be a decent size game and require lots of assets, probably taking at least a year of full-time work to complete. If interested email me at JoryRFerrell@live.com
