Ha, quite possibly! But in this case the highlight should be waaaay stronger on the 'eyelids'. Inverse square law 'n stuff. Also the flame does look brighter than the eye.

 I believe the that light might be coming from the eye, not entirely sure.

Nevertheless it's a pretty piece :)

The highlights from the flame on the branches are illogical (the flame would light the top side of the branches).
Also watch out for banding (double line on the tree flanks).
