A good start! Though I think it could benefit quite a bit if you tweaked a couple of things on it, Namely;

 - Increasing the margins on the sides just a bit would give the piece a little more breathing room overall.

 - Perhaps a different font or picture above could make it look just a bit more interesting.

Keep at it though & don't give up, you'll get the hang of it!
