 That character on the left with the snake reminds me very strongly of a Pokemon trainer sprite but I can't recall which one... a swimmer maybe?

 It's drawn very nicely, but I think where it shows the upcoming moves for Ixchel, the icons are too similar in value ot the bg, and the red icons stick out too much in contrast to the others.
