Hey Manupix, thanks for the comment. I toyed with the idea of having no face, but since the game is about the character, thought it was better to indicate it. Maybe a simple silhouette would be better? Am definitely open to any suggestions to improve! :)
Potentially awesome, but not very readable atm. I'm not sure about the face even after I found it. I think it's an issue of visual priorities.
The facial features are not really identifiable, some pixel clusters seem random: I guess the darkish 2x1 horizontal cluster near the helmet center is an eye, but I'm not 100% sure. In that case what's beneath is a nose and the lower face is hidden, but it might as well be a prominent chin. The inverted T cluster beneath the 'eye' is meaningless to me.
Similar problems with the gun-holding arm: the forearm and hand are ok, but the upper arm is a mess of single pixels, and the gun muzzle aligns with the helmet (horizontally and vertically) in a way that confuses both.
I'd recommend going to the WIP forums for more feedback, I can see the problems but I don't know how to solve them!
