So I was coding an object that has similar traits to the dragon heads in Sonic 1's Labyrinth Zone. So I decided to base my designs of the little monster and the Bowser statues in the last level of Super Mario Bros 3. These were all super fun to do as well, as I have designed them for certain zones!
The small ones blow out either water, fire or ice! While the larger ones blow out air that push you back! These are great for level design, and make the levels super fun!

Yeah, I guess I should have kept to the same colour schemes with the horns on the head, good call! As for the larger ones being entryways, you're not half wrong. They were also inspired by the eagle heads in Mario Bros 2!
I like them, though the horns on top of their heads seems a little off due to the different colours used. The idea is cool though...at first glance I thought they'd be entryways, but having a variety of things spewed from them is a better use!
