A snowy background done for Midorea.
That is so cool, nice work
This piece was more of an expeirment to see how limited I could keep the detail, while maintaining a realistic look. I'm glad to hear that it turned out to be somewhat successful, and appreciate the positive critique! I may have to try more scenery soon.
Thanks, and they're footprints :) http://midorea.com/images/relics/december_2013_relics_preview.png
So much atmosphere!
I've always felt that snow would work pretty well with your lovely style. This piece is the proof.
It has the right amount of detail and rendered forms. The backround is a great example. Just enough clusters to give you a hint what is going on, still there is plenty of room for imagination. And on top of that an atmospheric palette.
Very cool. :)
Love it, although I can't quite understand if those are tracks left by a vehicle or footprints.
P.s.: That midorea site looks interesting, but I hate the fact that they require registration to see/do anything. So I didn't sign up.
I feel like this could have been taken a lot further, but at the same time I love its current simplicity.
soft, sketchy, and quite nice
