Really cool stuff, chap.
I like the designs and colours, espacially the beetle mechs. Clouds and backround look awesome too. I'd love to see more details and props lying around though.... Could help to give more live to the wastelands.
If you post more stuff from the porject I might join in... as long as you want me to that is. :)
Very nice background. looks like an underground world to me.
In the promo pic, there are text boxes over that dead space on the bottom... I should have trimmed that for this version, now that you mention it. I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing to fill that space for the actual game... Maybe a foreground layer?
I will definitely be adding some ruins in the background as well, so good call on that. :]

the far bg looks amazing, I'd love to see some distant factories and stuff going on :- )
