I'm a newbie pixel artist, and I'm trying to at least pixel one thing a day.
I thought I'd make this pixel as a testiment to my childhood. I'm actually considering buying a gamecube again.
This may be posted in a critque fourm.
Since I'm just starting out, this pixel is free of use (Nonprofit use). Post on forums, profiles, whatever you choose.

This looks great. The line art is very close to the real thing. The only issue I can see with this at all is inconsistent lighting; some areas are coming from the top-right, others are coming from the right, some places have no shading where they should according to both sources. Good job on the text. It's amazingly readable for how tiny it is. Some advice I would have for you is to keep the color count as low as possible while working. I think you could easily cut down the number of colors to as low as 12-13 without losing any details and gaining unity and all that stuff the tutorial people talk about. For me, at least, it's easier to control while you're drawing and adjusting and whatnot.
Well, that's it. It's a very nice piece of pixel art, and I hope to see more good pieces from you in the future. :)
