Hey you bastards, I'm still here.

---

I had watched Papillon (one of my favourite movies btw.) right before I fell asleep yesterday. What followed that night must have been one my most interesting dreams of 2013. ...

I saw Papillon's Head, portrayed by Steve Mcqueen of course, flaoting around in space, all in crazy colours, talking to me about things I sadly can't remember anymore... My mind was blown, I had to pixel it.

Thanks a lot! It is a fantastic film.

Haha, that would be very unfortunate. Though everything is better than being locked up on one of those terrible islands, even Dustin Hoffman's bum... floating in space... farting about.

I really would like to see more pixels from you! :)

Great work Mandrill, I recorded Papillon when it was on telly recently, I'll have to watch it now and see if I get the same dream.......knowing my luck I'll probably just get an image of Dustin Hoffman's arse!

@ Cels

Thanks!

No reference to Jesus, haha. :)

His head, even though floating, was somehow guided by a railing system. Sparkling, jumping about and whatnot.

@ ultimaodin

Thanks for the hint.

I've just tried it out. It works pretty well for the eyebrows but it doesn't look right on the beard. Maybe I did something wrong though..

Hehe, it was.

@ Jalosno

I bet that must have been an even more remarkable experience back then :)

Very nice. Out of interest, what is the significance of the lines in the background? Did you keep some lines you used for getting proportions right, is it a reference to the movie or does the cross imply that Steve McQueen is in fact Jesus? [smile]

Wile I can't say Iknow what your dream looked like I feel as though is eyebrows and beard would be better brighter and more flouro like that blue. Sounds like a crazy dream though.

That is a good movie. Hard to believe I saw it in the theatre when new
