I think the glowing green of the mouths distracts viewers from the pot and treants. This is because it's the same brightness even in the treant furthest back, and also the same brightness as the pot's contents. As a result, the pot hardly sticks out. If you used the pot's "slime" as a glowing lightsource to impact the trees, I think the piece would be a lot nicer.
Another complaint is that the trees are the same shade as the ground, thus making them stand out very little. Perhaps you should use the darker browns for the ground?
Those things aside, this is definately a huge improvement from your other stuff. The leaves especially are really nice!
