Thanks but I was really impressed by yours, especially as you didn't go the "easy" way of the 160x200 mode as I did :D
We should try to get your animation to play on the Thomson. A final version of the slideshow with a few improvements is planned, hopefully that can be one of them.
Good to hear the article on my blog and the script from Pulkomandy were useful.
Thanks, exocet! :D Your slideshow contribution was hands down the best one in my opinion.
Yes, the animation should follow the constraints. I imported every frame from the animation into Grafx2 and used that script from your blog to double check. This image wouldn't have been possible without that script.
Oh, and thanks, Theoden :)
I've just seen this in the Thomson TO8 slideshow (the still version though). Excellent work! You've really made a great job with the colour clash constraints - you don't notice anything here.
Is the animation following the block constraints as well?
This has great composition and contrast. Love the lightning flash too =p
Heh, I actually envisioned this when I made the animation: http://johanelebrink.com/files/The_Druid_2.gif
Starts off with the old Thomson restrictions (MO5, or maybe even TO7?), then all of a sudden BAM! Transition into the TO8 palette and then BAM! The animation and some music starts playing simultaneously! The viewer will be like: "Well, this isn't impressive at all. It's just the same old- OH MY GOD! WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?"
But I have no idea if this possible to do or not.
