One of my favorite games from my childhood, and overall! You did justice to the sprites, good job. :)

I downloaded a bunch of old roms recently in a fit of nostalgia, I think I may bump Shining up close to the top of the list now. XD
Peter when he first joins you: "What the hell is this AI character doing stealing all my team's last hits with his weak attack and getting no EXP! What a pain!"
Peter at the end game: "Man I really wish my other characters could level, but promoted, player controlled Peter moves first and farther and destroys everything without effort!" My last playthrough years ago I made Sarah into a power house actually. Fed her all the stat increase items and made her a Master Monk. Unstoppable kiling machine that heals~ Man... now I'm sad I didn't get to Peter... hmmmm...
I think Peter and Slade are tied for the biggest underdog story. XD
Are you kidding? I love unpromoted Kiwi! :D So much cuter than the giant fire breathing monster he turns into (though that does get points for being totally awesome). Slade on the other hand... it took me a LONG time before I got him to promotion level and learned he's not completely useless and lame!
Maybe I'll get around to finishing the rest of the cast sometime in at least one of their forms since so many share body sprites at different classes. Seeing as how I'm still working on an animation from 2012 in the forums I wouldnt rule out the possibility of seeing this finished 
I forgot how lame Slade and Kiwi look like in their unpromoted forms. XD
I'd like to see you tackle those steampunk tanks and what's his name armadillo's second form.
I'm not surprised~ I really should of given them a closer once-over. I'll see about getting a fixed version up sometime soon, because now I'm seeing them too and it's bugging me!
Nice job overall but some single 'crazy' pixels around when zoomed...don't be lazy.
