Like everyone else has said, the dark outlines around the detail parts (rocks, spikes) don't work well with the smooth-painted sand and mountains, which are fantastic imo. But they don't integrate well.
I love it, the pixelling makes it look like a compelling painting. You can almost make out brushstrokes.
This is everything I wanted to do on my desert piece :.c. Great stuff man. I'll use it for when I need help if I ever wanna redo it.
I didn't realize this was for a game. Your backgrounds look really impressive.
I guess you could make the outlines of the spike-things and some of the rocks more smooth. Other than that, the sand looks really cool, nice work.
Very nice, love the colors. The sand could use more textures, nearby the stone hills, to make a more seemles transition from stone to sand maybe? Other than that, very nice, and I'd actually like to know which game this is?
I really like the way you've shaded the sand, it looks really nice!
I agree with Muxaun, but, as usual, the palette is gorgeous.
very cool, but the sand looks like it is made of plastic. You could reduce those speculars.
also please add shadows to the horns (or bones?)
