Obviously better. I like the highlights on the beak on the previous one though. They can show us the difference of the materials.

Good, great improvement, but i still prefer the derpy eyes from the other one. But the feathers are better.

Good, in a very AWKWARD way ;)  Just a little thing I noticed when messing with this in photoshop, try removing the outline on the beak where it meets the feathers, to me the dark line inside the image doesn't fit your style here.

I see a lot of improvement here. Reduced the noise, added a bit more depth and used shadows, and I like the change in colours, it's just that bit more vibrant. 

My only critique is that you've made the neck smaller than the head, and if you look at most bird references, i,e, a parakeet or a cockatoo, you'll notice it stays about the same size.
 

What about it?

I still don't like the beak. Other than that, lovely.
