Looks much better!

Sorry, that was a bit nerdy.
Well I found one excess colour and killed it, added more background fluff, fixed up multiple flaws. Lowered the brightness of the crystals and glyphs.
Thanks again for the feedback Cels, but now its time to slumber.
What would Brian Boitano do? He'd make a plan and follow through.
Thanks for the critique, Its late in my timezone so I just had to post it.
That edit is the right idea I was strugling a bit with the readability. You know when you stare at something for too long and just don't know anymore and need another pair of eyes.
And about the colour thing I use photoshop so sometimes things go a bit derp when I accidentally have the pencil on opacity -_-, And I honestly dont know a good way to fix it after the fact.
Now I have a dillema; get sleep or make it better...
Oh this is brilliant! What a wonderful scene! Unfortunately, it looks like you were forced to rush it a bit in the end. You've only used 14 of maximum 16 colours, and at least 2 of those 14 seem to be used only by accident. So in reality, this is 12 colours.
While this is very well drawn and a very cool concept, there's just so many bright colours that it drowns out the three most important things here: the player character, the enemies and the HUD. Instead, my eyes are drawn to the crystals - despite the white outlines around the sprites. Here's a quick edit. It is perhaps not as pretty, but I personally feel it's easier to look at. If I had worked more on this, I would have tried to do more justice to the awesome background, to make it easier to notice just how messed up the perspective is. I honestly feel that you've barely scratched the potential of this piece. That's just my humble opinion though.
I love that piece :D
