thank, puis-je suggéré quelques retouche !
@graindolium
Ok good. Well then we would just need to change the colors to 12bits. :)
Should I try to change the colors myself or can someone else your demogroup do it?
But anyways you have my permission to freely use this image in your TO8 project. :)
modes :
- 160x200 , 16 colors
- 320x200 , 4 colors <= your graph :)
- 320x200 , palette 16 colors with 8*1 in 2 colors
- 640x200 , 2 colors
your graph is already adapted, only the colors are fixed on 12bits !
@graindolium
Ok, I have now google translated and read more about the TO8 project, sounds interesting. :)
So you're looking for pixel art that could be easily transformed into the Thomson TO8 graphics format, that has a MSX-style "2 colors on a 8*1 row" limitation? :D
Yes, this picture might be quite compatible with those rules; the only problematic areas would be the horse and the edges of the wizards shield; in those places there are often 3 colors in the same 8*1 cell...But if the horse was removed and the shield + the wizard were redesigned accordingly, then I think this image could be quite Thomson-compatible...
It's an interesting idea, in the past I have programmed games for the MSX-1 computer which has exactly this same graphics limitation, so I'm familiar with this 8*1 thing. And it might be interesting to see how this picture would look if converted to that format...so maybe I'll actually make such a version of it in the future, we'll see. :D
@graindolium
No, I have never heard of that "TO8 project" before. :)
But I checked that link and tried to google translate some of the posts there, and noticed 4 colors + 320*200 being mentioned in one post. So is it some kind of a demo project looking for 4 color pictures? :)
éh your contribution for TO8 project ? :)
@graindolium
Looks good. Couleurs intéressantes et semble bon. :D
