yeah I realized later that was what you were talking about. when I was drawing the clouds I was trying to stick close to 8x8 "tiles" for some arbitrary reason lol. so some of them have a flat bottom but most had a flat top. the video went to production already but i'll note the mistake for future stuff.

I am not talking about the light direction. I'm talking about the shape of the clouds. Clouds, seen from a great distance (i.e. not from directly below) tend to be flat underneath, not on top. Like so.

if you're regarding to the shape, yes, they don't look like real clouds, but too late for me to fix them. lol.

Well there was no accident really, the idea is the clouds are composed of black smoke (dictated by the story of the video) but backlit with the sunset. since the light direction comes from the sunset, it makes sense they're lit from below not from above.

So much old school win! I agree with ADrawingMan though. Clouds tend to be flat underneath, while yours appear flat on top, probably due to some copy-paste accident.

This is awesome. This is a great reference for when anyone will want to do backrounds. I'm not a fan of the clouds but the buildings are topnotch! Great colors too.
