A tribute to Kingdom Hearts

A spiral staircase is used to symbolize a castle in the series of Kingdom Hearts. In a hidden room of the castle is a boy who's unconcious on a throne. So I wanted to draw that room at the top of the staircase!

The floor is a little empty, but I could NOT make the floor ingravements look good for the life of me (I even tried many various designs), so I just erased them altogether.

Process (tell me if the link doesn't work). I had to start this off as a painting to get the general idea of perspective, and then I shrunk it down.

Great little scene!

Love the way you dither in general, some of your works kinda write the book on how to do them in a certain style.
