only crit is to bring the foreground elements closer in with more contrast/color
Stunning. Now this is a place a fairy can live. I love the limited use of color and the sheer amount of personality in your work. It seems every time I click a link here I'm transported to an entierly new world. Super excited to see this atmospheric trifecta you're working on.
Looks awesome! >> I think the log/root is contrasting a little too much xD
Wow, wonderful! I really love this mysterious atmosphere...
The new rocks look better imo, it seems like there is a bit too much contrast between the lighter and darker rocks that doesn't seem to come from lighting or fog though, it looks like there are two different colors of rocks. (that may be intended I guess)
thanks everyone! glad to see you guys like it, I put a lot of random hours of work into it.
as for the rocks-- I agree. they were the first part of the image that I worked on originally, so they're definitely a bit dated. I will fix them up and put up a new version hopefully sometime in the next few days!
I will also get rid of the horizon dither-- also another early part that was done. after looking at this for so long, little glaring mistakes like that elude my eyes.
but yeah-- thanks a ton everyone. hopefully I'll have the other two in this series finished up in the next few months as well!
One of the best pixel art I've ever seen. The depth image impresses me a lot. Incredibly fantastic. :D
Honestly i don't know if it was on purpose or not but I like the blurred rock . it gives that unfocus feeling to the image. i would have loved that same blured effect on the front branch and tree as well.
I like it. very nice work.
amazing :) but the rocks in the front look a little blurred and its a little distracting, but this is awesome bro, keep it up ^^
This is really spectacular work! The amount of detail in the leaves is amazing, and I think you really suceeded in fading the scene into the background. I agree with what people are saying about the rocks, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. Composition, color, balance, everything is quite remarkable!
Man, really gorgeous. Love the detailed, yet still "soft" looking grass. Great color palette and nice sense of depth.
Very atmospheric! The only issue I can see is how faraway trees have the same sized clusters of bark as foreground trees. Besides this 'texture-resolution uniformity', everything looks fantastic!
Terrific pixel work. Totally agree with ska about the 50/50 dithering in the water line.
aw yis. The house is out of perspective but this is great.
This is amazing!
Really beautiful and well pixeled
I agree about the rocks in the foreground seeming a bit blurry though.
Maybe less dithering in the middle of the horizon.
Anyway, this is phenominal. Your most cohesive piece yet. You're improved tremendously.
I think the rocks should be a bit more detailed but hey, this is incredible!
So stellar and amazing! A piece of high magnificence!
