Real cute and well pixelled. You don't pixel and submit often but when you do its always good.
My only suggestion is that you make yourself an avatar

the only think what I'm looking at is the light source.
if this sprite is for a shoot em left. or everything like. on the 2 plane, the light source comes from top...
and why on the 1rst frame the light source is from the left (?.
if this will be a rotation animation, you need to put the shades on the same direction.

Well with the light source. the 1rst frame should actually look upwards or downwards. it would be like an open side scroller. But you are right it is confusing. I will update it :)
