The dithering lends itself well to the overall design of the piece. I love that contrast in colors with the rock and the red liquid; it really catches the eye. Kudos to you on your hard work - keep it up!

Very interesting piece! Right off the bat, it looks interesting. Then you start appreciating the details and the design as you look further. Personally, I think the rock / skull would be even better with a bit more contrast and more shadows in the recesses.
