Oh, so these are explosions outside? Not nearly bright enough to be readable!
I thought the Xs could be tape but I had no idea why ;)
What I mean anyway is that they should be down-contrasted, they don't need to be the same value and visibility everywhere, just look at how they blend into the light in the ref.
Same thing for floor boards: it's good to have them (goes a long way to set the action in a specific setting) but you could have hinted at them, a few pixels here and there, and hid the rest in random shadows and tear and wear. In particular, on the right side they tend to drive the eye away.
nice, maybe a little eerie :). the muntin bars look a bit unfinished to me, though.
Thanks for the comments! I used this image as a reference. The windows are taped like this (the scene is supposed to be happening during ww2), so I think it was an important part of the image. As for the floor, well, I was not sure how to fill it, and it just looked dull emply, so that is why I put wood flooring
Love this, great atmosphere and colors. Any reference used?
No idea what the X like things on the windowpanes are, but they're pretty distracting though, and so are the floor patterns in a lesser way. It's good to suggest these things, showing them whole quickly gets boring.
Nice one with a very interesting palette. Great mood overall, imho.
Oh sweet mother of god yes. Totally original! I really like the mood depicted here.
I think I undesrand what you mean, I have made changes in the floor and the tape.
