A pixel art comic? Cool! I really like the idea. I once tried making a pixel art webcomic, but sort of gave up because of the workload. You, sir, have my respect.
I haven't had the time to check out the first issue yet, but based on these pages you might want to consider improving your perspective skills. But then again, I found some artwork from issue #3 on the blog of the author and that looked pretty ace.

Love it. But yes, the kerning needs be improved for the text in speech bubbles.
